Chorales are an important part of many of Bach’s sacred works (cantatas, passions). In addition to chorales themselves, there are many chorale fantasies and arias that use chorale melodies as contrapuntal or decorative materials. Many chorale preludes and partitas (variations) for organ have also been left behind. Among Bach’s opus numbers, BWV250 to BWV438 are four-voice harmonised chorale arrangements. These works, which were written throughout Bach’s life, are organized in alphabetical order and assigned opus numbers. These CDs contain all of the songs on three discs. The recordings were shared among multiple choirs. Each one has a truly pure harmony, which can be heard with the recording of the best technology. A must-have disc for any Bach fan. #baroque #bach #chorale #片山俊幸 https://excelkobo.net/bachwerke/archive/BWV0253.pdf
