Genius of Boy Sopranos
From time to time, a boy soprano hailed as a prodigy emerges, only to eventually fade from the scene. At such moments, I find myself fervently wishing that he would leave behind a recording of one of Bach’s solo cantatas for soprano. Though his time in the spotlight is fleeting, such a recording would undoubtedly endure as a historical legacy for future generations. And for that, I would hope for the natural trumpet to be played by none other than Jean-François Madeuf. #baroque #bach #boysorano #片山俊幸
