Along with BWV 51, 84, and 199, this is a solo soprano cantata. The soprano soloist is Seppi Kronwitter of Tölzer Knabenchor. The piece opens with a sinfonia. The orchestra consists of two horns, three oboes, bassoon, string ensemble and basso continuo. The soprano recitative “Falsche Welt, dir trau ich nicht” is followed by the soprano aria “Immerhin, immerhin, wenn ich gleich verstoßen bin”. The obbligato by Violins I and II is interwoven with unison and parallelism, and the basso continuo accompaniment sometimes shows fine movement while imitating the sound pattern of the violins. Following the recitative and arioso, the aria “Ich halt es mit dem lieben Gott” is sung by three oboes and basso continuo, and the three oboes are homophonic throughout.
