Baroque Lute Vol.1 / Eugen Muller-Dombois

This record was released in the early days of the lute. I remember listening to this recording for the first time and being convinced that the lute could make such a sound. On the other hand, there were some rather “disreputable” records in those days. One of the best examples was a record by guitarist Mr. Y, which was released by a famous German label. Eugen Muller-Dombois was a man who contributed greatly to the revival of orthodox lute playing. He also trained many students, many of whom are now active in the world of ancient music. #baroque #lute #片山俊幸
