Chorale cantata with hymns by Paul Eber. The first piece is the chorale “Herr Jesu Christ, wahr’ Mensch und Gott” accompanied by two recorders, two oboes, and string orchestra. The tenor recitative is followed by the soprano aria “Die Seele ruht in Jesu Händen. Sebastian Hennig’s singing is wonderful. The following bass recitative and aria “Wenn einstens die Posaunen schallen” is a dramatic music with a dizzying alternation between a recitative accompanying a trumpet of the judgement and raging strings and an aria accompanied only by basso continuo.
